Alykes Beach

Description

Alykes is a small creek 200m long in the tourist area of Kato Paphos, close to the hotels and Poseidonos Avenue. It is an ideal choice mainly for tourists seeking easy access to the beach. The clear turquoise waters and its golden sand, combined with the facilities provided, were the reason for the blue flag certification. It is well-organised, providing sun loungers with umbrellas, changing rooms, showers and toilets. Also, from April to October there are lifeguards with lifesaving equipment as well as first aid services.

Access to the beach is very easy and there is a bus stop nearby. Also within easy reach of the beach are restaurants, fish taverns, cafes, bars, kiosks, supermarkets and accommodation.

Finally, it is a great starting point to explore some of the area’s most famous sights, such as the Medieval Castle, the picturesque harbour and the Archaeological Park.
