Lighthouse (Faros) Beach


A large beach of exceptional natural beauty, famous for its stunning views and the impressive white lighthouse that has given it its name. Located at the western end of Paphos, it stretches 400 metres.

It is renowned for its golden sand and clear sea. Its natural beauty combined with integrated facilities including: toilets, showers, changing rooms, sun loungers, umbrellas, rubbish and recycling bins, access for the disabled, the lighthouse beach earns the Blue Flag every year. It also offers activities such as a playground, a beach volleyball court and nature walks. In addition, life guard services are available here for the entire bathing season, which runs from April until October. Faros beach is definitely a wonderful choice for everyone, especially for families with children.

Access here is easy by bus, car, motorbike and bicycle. In the surrounding area you will find available accommodation, as well as water sports equipment for rent.

You can also explore important monuments and sights nearby, such as the beautiful Lighthouse, the Ancient Agora (Market) and the Ancient Odeon (Amphitheatre), but also the famous Tombs of the Kings.
